Chevron has implemented within their organization a life saving actions program called Save Your Life Actions.  Their program includes safeguards that have been identified as life-saving and are designed to prevent fatalities when performing work associated with Managing Safe Work (MSW) Standards.

In addition to the Save Your Life Actions, Chevron also implemented a verification tool designed to help workers confirm Save Your Life Actions are completed immediately prior to the start of work. The Start Work Checks ensure safeguards are in place and working immediately prior to start of work and are designed to reduce human error.
